Lolita’s second favorite types of movies were underworlders or noir type films. I picked this film because it has Humphrey Bogart in it and I think Lolita would have found him very attractive. Also, the title speaks to me because Lolita was often in a lonely place, being held captive by Humbert. She wanted to have friends and live a normal life and she was robbed of that.
